These treatments are EXTREMELY STRONG (especially to the nostrils).This is day three of having those..... pads in my hive. This morning I did a driveby on my bees and didn't notice any activity. Upon closer observation, I noticed 1/4 of my bees dead on their front porch. so I knocked on the door (lid), no bees answered. when I opened the hive bees were there, just hot and bothered, so I left them alone. I was very alarmed nonetheless. again I did a driveby during lunch and noticed the bees have been removing the dead bodies. NOW the dead body count is half. So I removed the treatments.Another observation I made is that bottom boards that weren't vented had the majority of the body count, whereas the vented boards only had maybe 5 dead bodies.I will use this is the future, but only with vented bottom boards.The order was filled promptly. It arrived before promised. Exactly what I needed.Thank you very much.Short dated only a few months before Expiration dateAfter introducing only one of the two packaged strips into my hive all the bees were dead within three days. I am outraged at this after struggling through the year to help these creatures survive.Even though it is supposed to have a 1 year shelf life DON'T BUY unless you are going to use it within days of receiving it. If you're lucky maybe you'll get some that has an expiration date a month out. After the expiration date, according to the manufacturer, the paper that controls the release breaks down and you'll run a high risk of killing you bees.I hate ticks and fleas on my dogs. So I treat them. I also hate mites on my bees. So I treat them. This is a good product. Arrived very fast. Thanks
