While in maui this year I stopped by a little farm stand on the side of the road, found this big island bees honey. Purchased brought back mainland side and had my first taste. Oh ny goodness was it good. I've made honey butter, honey chili chicken put in tea and on toast and biscuits. So good. Well I am almost half way through ny maui obtained jar so on to locate more. I checked the website of original stand and then checked Amazon. Where I found this 2 jar deal and I purchased it. When it arrived it was earlier then they anticipated, it was packaged so well with a little note with a magnet, recipe and conversion card. Low and behold I looked at the return address and found it was from Big Island Bees themselves!! Perfect direct from the source. I've seen reviews that say it's gritty or grainy, it is butbits also not heat treated and is organic. It dissolves into hot tea, or into the recipe without the grit. I will only purchase this brand. They have other flavors without if that's what you prefer. Give it a taste you won't be disappointed.We did the tour with Joe in Hawaii... Honey is amazing good. I hope more of the vanilla bean is available soon. That is my favorite - it tastes like frosting.I have purchased this honey before, I visited this farm when I was on the big island. Its my favorite honey for sure! So I knew what to expect there. But this seller, wow! The package was beautiful, and so special. I order a lot from amazon, and I am always happy with 99.9% of my packages. So its not that I see a lack of quality in other items. Its just I really felt the aloha spirit when I received this honey! It was a nice touch, so thank you to the seller. I have really been missing Hawaii during all of this and receiving this was a bright spot to my day.Our house has several honey consumers in it. Also honey critics!Unfortunately these bottles missed the mark. No complaints about the flavor. Both are very tasty, but we had to heat each "batch"To get the crystals melted back into a smooth consistency.Great Honey and Packed Well to protect the glass jars.Tried both of them recently and I 'm hooked taste excellent .Send few to my family to try.From now on only this brand and manuka when sick-both same time.Best honey ever! I eat it everyday and have a little taste before bed. The Ohi’a Luhua is so creamy and delicious like a “butter” consistency but OMG! The Wilelaihki Blossom is your more traditional style honey these two honeys will just blow your mind. Gotta represent the Big Island ?I love both of these honey’s. They came super fast and packaged well. And the taste is amazing!
