This might be a little deceptive. My daughter’s prom dress looked rather drab and the original skirt was flat and a little short for her 6’1” frame, so we bought this praying it would match and we added it ON TOP of the original dress and used the sash to hide the awkward pairing. A friend of ours sewed it all together and we couldn’t have been happier with the result. Totally worth the extra money and effort. It is long and heavy and feels very quality. I imagine what you see in our picture is the effect you’d get with a little petticoat underneath (since there is the dress’ original skirt under this additional skirt). It is more of a pinky peach than a tan peach, in case you’re wondering. It didn’t match perfectly, but we were happy with it. :)My daughter is a little less than 6’1” and is wearing 2.5” heels. In the first pic I am holding back a lot of the poof and waist to make it look a little more flattering on my frame in indoor lighting. The second pic shows how it looks with the sash tied tightly around with me not holding back the poof with outdoor lighting coming through the door. I am typically a size 4 or small. For reference, I am 5'6 and 130 lbs. I got this skirt for a wedding I am going to be in next month in Bermuda.Negatives- The fit was not great. The seller messaged me asking my measurements because I ordered a custom color and when the skirt arrived it was a larger elastic waist. The skirt is long so I will have to have it hemmed and altered. I am going to see if I can get someone to take some of the poof out and tighten the waist. It is not very flattering. I am also going to steam it to see if that will cut down on the poof.Positives- The color is nice and the skirt arrived quickly.I bought this for a friend's wedding I'm in, and love it! The quality is great, the color is great (sometimes on a screen, you just don't know for sure, but it turned out perfect), and it arrived quickly. The only thing I will need to be cautious of, is the under-skirt part is more narrow/tight at the bottom than expected, so I'll need to take shorter steps, if I'm not using one hand to hold the bottom up a bit.I am glad I got the large, when I almost got the medium, as well.I wasn’t expecting this skirt to be as good of quality as it is!I was a little nervous upon receiving the package because it was quite small, and after opening it I thought I was sent the wrong item. Turns out, the skirt was turned inside out and folded so that only the satin under layer was visible. It was a bit wrinkly, but that’s to be expected, and it was easy to steam. There are three layers to this: the bottom, which is a satin, somewhat straight skirt, and two layers of tulle that are fun in full circles allowing for lots of volume and great twirling!I ordered a small, which is a bit tight. If I had time to order a medium, I would, but I need to wear it for a photo shoot this weekend.I am 5’2, 125lbs. It is pretty long on me, but I’m wearing heels, and I wanted a little extra length for dramatic photos.I’m impressed with this product!I bought this skirt in “Champagne” and wore it for my wedding. It was very pretty, nice material. I have a 27” waist and 39” hips, and I bought a Small, which fit very well. As other reviews noted, the skirt was VERY long, so I had to get about 6 inches taken off (I am 5’3”). The front of the waistband is smooth, while the back is stretchy, which helps with the fit. It also comes with a sash. The skirt was definitely poofier than appeared on the model, however not terribly so. For shipping it was packaged inside out to protect the tulle, so don’t think you got ripped off - turn it right side out and steam/iron it to get the wrinkles out. Four stars for the length and poofiness, but otherwise very nice, especially for the price. The photographer kept going on about how pretty it was in the light. The bottom of the tulle was cut uneven, there were dirty spots on the lining, and a piece of the tulle must have been sticking out when the packaging was sealed, which left 2 holes. It almost looks like I received someone’s return after they had worn it.I ordered this skirt to assess quality and color before I had my bridesmaids order from here. I am beyond impressed by the quality and the speed by which my order was processed. It is exactly as pictured - I suggest adding an extra inch or two to achieve that drapey look. Communication is difficult if you're trying to find an exact color. I reached out to the seller to ask which color they could recommend and provided an online swatch but I was given a vague answer about how computer screens are different so it's hard to say. Understandable, but it left me ordering two skirts in custom colors before finding the right color (P.S. non-refundable if you go the custom route, which can get expensive). Despite this, I would order from this seller many times over, I am so pleased with this product!!! I've searched all over to find something like this (Etsy, Revelry, Anthropologie), and this is the best quality and price I've found.P.S. If you're looking for something that matches David's Bridal wisteria color, I recommend ordering a skirt in color #51.Bought this skirt to wear for my wedding photos. Beautifully made. Definitely not cheaply made. Returned to seller because I decided on a different color. Gave 4 stars because of the excessive length. I'm 5'4 123 pounds 32 bust 26 waist 36 hips. Skirt was soooo long even pulled way above my belly button. This seller does offer custom sizing! Take your measurements before hand and order custom to avoid buying and returning hassle.I was skeptical but ordered anyways and was pleasantly surprised !No smell , we’ll put together , great colour , fits well just around belly button , falls nicely to the floor . It’s just poofy enough and sits smoothly over hips .Poor quality was not what was expected at all
