I got these chairs today and thought I'd get them together in no time. I am a carpenter, trained by my father and have all the tools. First step, attach seat bottom to frame with four 1" screws. Great, how easy can that be? Well think again. There are two holes in the bottom of the seat board, however, they have absolutely nothing to do with how the seat is attached and, in fact, you cover them up when attaching the seat. So where do you put the seat? Good question. You have to figure that out for yourself. I thought, well okay, I'll attach the back loosely to the seat frame and center it and that should do it. Well, it would, except some of the holes in the frame don't all go through as they are supposed to. You have to mark the back of the seat somehow and then drill a starter hole. Well, that's when I said what a minute, if I do what I need to do to get these together and there is any problem with the chair, I'm stuck with them. DO NOT BUY THESE CHAIRS unless you have the capability to refit them properly and want to take the risk that they will sit properly when you are done. Too much money for something I have to rework.I am very pleased with the chairs. I got exactly what I expected. They were fairly easy to assemble. Some screws were more difficult than others to put in place. All the parts were delivered which is always nice.Very sturdy chairs and quality wood. Absolutely LOVE them
