This room divider is absolutely perfect and really exceeded my expectations. It is a pure white, which is what I was looking for. It is sturdy and maneuverable the same time and looks very beautiful. The quality is flawless. I bought this one used (so as to save a bit of money) and I am happy to say that it looks perfectly new, there is not a single discernable flaw to it. I highly recommend it!I’d been looking for a white panel divider for a while now for my studio apartment when I came across this one. Although, the reviews were mixed I thought I’d give it a shot. Thankfully, it’s exceeded my expectations so far. All the slats, hinges and paint seem to be fine. So it’s exactly what I expected as it works as a barrier between my small hall and the main living area in my space. I honestly just wanted something so that when we open the front door you can’t see all the way in so it serves it’s purpose perfectly. The price point was also fair as I checked on other sites to compare. Overall, happy with this purchase.I'm overall very pleased with my purchase. The folding screen arrived quickly, without damage from shipping, is as described, and is of a heavy, sturdy quality. I love the flexibility of having double hinges, and that it rests so firmly on the ground without wobble. My only negative note is in construction flaws on a few of the slats on the louvered top. A little more attention to detail there would have gone a long way. Most notably, one of the slats bows down in the center about a quarter of an inch, drawing your eye immediately to that point since you can see so much light and background passing through instead of the white of the screen. That said, I simply took this into account with how I arranged it in the room to not draw notice to it, and am thinking on how I might be able to come up with ways to otherwise mask or hopefully ultimately correct the bowing if need be. I would happily buy this folding screen again if I ever needed a second one.Quick shipping and not damaged, thank goodness. Overall, is sturdy and love the contrast between slats and beadboard below. The problem is .... quite a few of the slats (a good 8 of them on 3 of the 5 panels) are really noticably bowed, and if you feel the edges of the slats they were not sanded, so they are rough. It really smells (guessing from the paint) so I'll have to put out on screen porch to air it out for a while. I really feel for the money, it's unacceptable to have so many flaws in the slats; it's not just one that you can re-position ... does anyone have any recommendation to correct slat bowing? These are not removable ... it's a big headache to me to have to re-ship it back and try again. From previous reviews, I see slat bowing is an issue. For the price, I'm wondering where the heck is the QUALITY CONTROL?? I was willing to take a chance. I am now feeling like shopping in a store to see what I'm getting before purchasing ...Does the job, but did arrive slightly damaged at the bottom. Had to superglue the siding so it wouldn’t come apart, but it was an easy fix. Other than that, it’s as advertised!Some of the slats do come slightly bowed, but I expected that judging from the other reviews. I bought three of them and they all came in great condition otherwise. Obviously it's not Peeping Tom-proof. Expect minimal privacy. I went with 4/5 stars, but 4.2 stars is more accurate.Exactly what I was looking for. The only drawbacks were minor, one of the slats arrived bent & it measures a little shorter than 6’ but just by a couple inches. Overall happy with the purchase!I love the look but dislike that the lightest touch will knock the whole thing down, and it can’t stand straight out it has to be curved or it will fall.
